An Assignment is a document that transfers your business interests to your Revocable Living Trust.
You should have an Assignment prepared if you own an interest in any of the following entities:
- Limited Liability Company
- Limited Partnership Interest
- General Partnership Interest
An Assignment can also be used to transfer your interest in promissory notes and deeds of trust to your Revocable Living Trust.
